Google dance is over for us
Sometime last week we discovered that as far as we were concerned Google dance was over. How was it for us? Like all other dances in the past, we benefited in most cases, but it was more apparent on our two new properties: Beautynova and Starmoo. So the message here is that if you see Google misbehaving, do nothing.
In the meantime, at least three reports show that Google has establishsed its superiority over Yahoo. Google not only continues to be on top, it is also gaining market share from both Yahoo and MSN – I do not count any other so-called search engines as meaningful players. While I would like to live in a world with more than one search engine, I would be the first person to celebrate the day Yahoo and MSN abandon their pathetic attempts at flirting with search technology. I think that is only way for innovation to flourish in search technology.
