Stephen Colbert, already the head of a virtual nation (with real members) — Colbert Nation – is running for president of the United States. He is really funny and I love his show. I can’t wait to see his responses during a presidential debate. I think his entering the race is not only great for his show, the Comedy Central channel (owned by Viacom) but also for television channels that will broadcast presidential election coverage. It is expected that the 2008 presidential election will lead to some two billion dollar in advertising spend.
