Merging computer and television
The digital media convergence is not merely a buzzword – it is what many consumers really want. For instance, we all love to watch television but do so quite often on a PC monitor, but the picture is grainy, the sound quality is poor, and it is hard to find exactly what you want. There are some encouraging signs, though. I am not talking this time about Joost – which is a major change – but in little improvements that make life better. For instance, the Playstation portable can connect to a television. Or, Tivo and Rhapsody are available through your television.
