How to get out of a cell phone contract?
The only way to describe dealing with a cell phone company is “horrible.” It seems that their business model is based on screwing their customers. Since all companies do the same, the business model is thriving. Many of us are hoping that someone will come up with a model that completely changes the rule of the game and we would be “delighted” by our cell phone company. We have had some good news from all those plans that require no contracts (I love the one from Virgin Mobile), but chances are that you are stuck with a contract for your mobile phone.
Before you watch this video on how to get out of your contract while the cell phone company tries every trick to harass you in staying with it (I have experienced everything from polite requests to incentives to threats), a few things are to be said in the defense of the providers. If there were no contracts, prices for both cell phones and plans will rise.
