It is amazing that a lingerie company can have $5 billion sales, but that is the case with Victoria’s Secret. I have written previously about Victoria’s Secret to success (a division of Limited Brands) and I am impressed with their strategy of providing luxury to the masses. The company has also diversified into adjacent businesses like personal care products. Plus, like Triumph of Japan, they also know how to create buzz.
Unfortunately, not all is right with the company and their sales have not been particularly impressive. Here as in interview with CEO Sharen Turney who talks about how the company plans to ramp up its sales leading up to the holiday season this year.
