How to make a robot?
I am fascinated by robots, androids, dancing partners, and robonauts; even movies like I, Robot and Stepford Wives. Looks like we are making a significant improvement in bringing robotics to the masses.
Carnegie Mellon University researchers have developed a new series of robots that are simple enough for almost anyone to build with off-the-shelf parts, but are sophisticated machines that wirelessly connect to the Internet.
The one that I like and may have a use for is a small, wheeled robot with a video camera that people might use to keep an eye on their home or pet while they are at work or school using a Internet connected computer. Stay tuned!
