What does Mitt Romney really believe?
As a businessman myself with roots in management consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy, I have enormous respect for his education, intellect, and expertise. I used to admire his business experience and even though his actions and those of Bain were harmful to individuals, anyone who understands business knows that they are just part of capitalism.
As the governor of Massachusetts, despite my not being a Republican, I have to say that he was a very effective executive. Like most fellow Massachusetts residents, I am thankful for RomneyCare (it is amazing that a Republican managed to create universal healthcare in our state), from which we all benefit and have no complaints against it. It is awesome that ObamaCare is a copy of his Massachusetts plan. Most reasonable Americans know that both ObamaCare and RomneyCare are awesome for the country.
Interestingly, in his efforts to become the president, Romney has shown a side of his that simply makes him look like a clown. Watch this hilarious video below to entertain yourself because this is a man who will say anything to please the person in front of him. Indeed, in business we know that making customers happy by saying/doing whatever it takes is good strategy, but in life and politics, we expect better. I totally get that we all have a right to change our minds (who would want to be a fundamentalist except a crazy?) but in doing so, we should have a good rationale.
