Casino Royale movie old versus new

Every James Bond movie, despite some of the predictable features, also has its surprises. In other words, you can never go wrong with a 007 movie, particularly if you are a fan like me. With that in mind, it should be fun to watch Casino Royale (particularly for those of you who love to spy), and even more so because there is a new man to watch: Daniel Craig.
Having said that, I would also recommend (yet another retro movie) the 1967 spoof of the same name. It has almost everything you would expect from a 1960s Bond movie, but something more: humor (even Woody Allen shows up). With more Hollywood celebrities that you can list (Peter Sellers, David Niven, Ursula Andress, Orson Welles, Joanna Pettet, Deborah Kerr, William Holden, Charles Boyer, John Huston, George Raft, and Jacqueline Bisset), you might like a movie that fits much better on Comedy Central than on the Action network.
And if your head starts to spin because you can’t follow the story – don’t consider yourself mad. The movie deliberately has a plot that does not make sense in the traditional context of time and space.
