A few months ago I enrolled in the Global Entry Trusted Traveler program and only earlier this month I used it for the first time at the John F Kennedy (JFK) Airport in New York. Arriving on a transcontinental flight that was very full, I noticed that I was the online one in the line for Global Entry kiosks. Like using anything for the first time, I might have taken a few seconds longer, but it was as simple as using an ATM — the whole process did not even take a minute and I was in the baggage carousel area right away, while other passengers were still finding their spot in the line. I would say that in just one use I might have recovered my investment. One of the finest achievements of the US Government.
